Being a sceptic it could be a well rehersed polite way of letting you down gently).

I have work for tomorrow and possibly Tuesday. Nothing special. In fact, anything but. It’s working for a party hire business cleaning chairs and tents. Labour intensive with a lowly wage (assuming I get paid…I’m still waiting from the last job). But at the end of the day its money. I have just booked another week here and I will continue to seek office work whilst pursuing the blue collar work. Emma text to say she is coming in 2 weeks or so, so I will probably be here for that. I have to coincide with the train to perth (my next destination definately) which only leaves twice a week (today, sunday, being one of those days).

Treated myself to dinner last night. Finally had Kangaroo. I had my hair cut last week and during the conversation with the hairdresser he mentioned his brother had a cafe/bistro in North Adelaide, on O’Connell St. He said they serve Kangaroo so I definately had to pay a visit. The Roo was served on a pollenta cake with ratatouille and a red current jus. Tasty! All for the princely sum of $19.90! Well worth it. It was a popular place. I was fortunate to get only one of 3 tables that were not reserved. If you’re ever in North Adelaide do check out Caffe Vagabondo
