>Got a text off Alex this morning, who is in Adelaide, asking when I would be in the area as he has a break coming up. So this morning, a little irritated after trying to apply for a job yesterday (the guy I emailed said drop in to the office, so I did and he was out. I’ve emailed to arrange a time and no response so good luck to the next candidate), I fired up my laptop and booked a flight for Saturday afternoon for $151. Will cost me $10 or so to get to the airport, and around $20 the other side to get to my hostel, which I have booked for 4 nights ($80). Alex offered me the sofa at his place but I didn’t want to intrude on his other housemates. Turns out he only has one other housemate, so I may yet extend a night of two and make use of his sofa until I decide an onward plan. I am thinking of taking a train to Perth, or I may seek out a guided tour from Adelaide to Alice Springs (not the one for $800 though!).
