>Well, not quite. Flew in to Sydney this afternoon. A far better journey back than I had going to Melbourne. Well worth the $170 + travel expenses to and from airports. Once I had dropped my gear off at the hostel I met up with the twins I met in Melbourne. I’ve left them to some shopping whilst I went for a bite to eat ( we’ll meet back at the hostel later this afternoon and head out for a drink somewhere, no doubt). But being back in Sydney. Walking the streets. It felt like home. I only left a week ago, and I’ve only been here for 5 weeks in total, but I felt like I knew the place (which I do given I’ve spent so much time walking its streets).

Tomorrow afternoon sees oxford street close and the parade that is synonymous with mardi gras bring the month long festivities (although you wouldn’t know it) to an end. Weather is forecast to be sunny, which always helps, but with potential showers tonight and Sunday. Thankfully whilst I was in Melbourne I missed the thunderstorms they experienced back here in Sydney.
